Do I need to donate $240?
No, you can donate any amount. A donation of $10 will be counted the same as a donation of $89 or $175. Every person that donates will be granted premium access at the "Leaders & Coaches" level until November 2023. That's right, one year of access for any donation. Help us help others - be the rising tide that raises all ships.
Why donations to Water.org instead of direct payments to OurSails?
We want to honor the memory of our friend - Glen de Vries. We can do that by raising money for a good cause he supported.

We're not good at organizing community fundraiser events like fun runs.
But we know how to make useful software.
So each year we'll attract donations by giving away software. We hope you'll join us in giving the gift of safe water!
Why water?
Water connects every aspect of life. Access to safe water and sanitation can quickly turn problems into potential – unlocking education, work opportunities, and improved health for women, children and families across the world.

771 million people — about 1 in 10 — lack access to safe water; 1.7 billion — about 1 in 4 — lack access to a toilet. Water is fundamental, many people lack it, and you can help.
